BAG IT!!!

Hey IBI Fans!!!

With great pleasure, I share with you the launch of my new store Bag It!!!! I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to sell authentic designer bags at affordable prices to everyone. Equality is very important to me and although this is a materialistic item, I'm still glad that I can make it accessible for everyone. Designer purses don't need to be overpriced and only accessible to a certain group of people. I've now been able turn my hobby for shopping for bags into my business. This just goes to show you that there are multiple platforms to grow on. My personal favorite platform is building your own! Please check out the store, feel free to share the page, and most of all be inspired to create!

Love,
Ish

Expect the Unexpected!

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
Downtown Indianapolis

Lake Michigan_Chicago!

Where has the time gone? Its almost September folks and we'll be wrapping up Q3. How has everyone's summer been? Any new discoveries? Mine was wonderful as I set out on a few new travels. Where you might ask? Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Indianapolis, Indiana, and Chicago, Illinois. What a blessing it is to add all these new places to my journey. I love visiting new places! I think through travel one is able to learn that we are all actually more similar than different. For me, there is a unique beauty in every place and it is humbling to be a part of it. Interestingly enough, you never know what traveling can bring you. In Puerto Vallarta, I felt the value of culture, language, and abundance. Indianapolis brought me friendship, independence, and exploration. Lastly, in Chicago I received clarity. I recall a moment when my friend and I were driving and suddenly some conquests of mine that I've been deliberating with for a while came to a full circle. It was like my truth showed up right before me and I understood why some of the things that I was pursing never came into fruition. In that moment I had surrendered, understood, and had a new direction. It rooted me back to a time in 2013 when I took a extravagant 30 day travel with my cousin. I remember when everything settled one of things that I learned from that experience was, "that you don't look for clarity, clarity is something that happens". With that being said, I conclude August with telling my readers that if there is something that you have been questioning for a while...try letting it go. You'll be surprised on how many answers come in silence!

Keep Winning!!!

Let's just take a moment to thank ourselves for all the hard-work we put in everyday just to make a day happen. There is strength in everything we do and it is just as important to celebrate the little things as it is the big things. Sometimes its not easy to detect all the newness that we have manifested in our lives, but I think it is important to acknowledge everything that brings us joy. With that being said, in April and May I been blessed to have tangible items that I have wanted for a while.  My hard-work is paying off! Please know that nothing happens over night and everything is a process. Live your best life and celebrate the beginning, middle, and end!!!

The Pursuit!

San Francisco Symphony Review
Fairmont Hotel_Liz Callaway Review

Oscars '2018_Los Angeles

Paramount Studios_LA

Hey Everyone!

Welcome to the last evening of March 2018 and the last full moon of Q1 (quarter 1). March is a special month for Insights by Ish because it marks the 7th year anniversary of its launch. It still trips me out because the things that I have now been blessed to do was once only imagined. When I started this blog my intention was to start a magazine because of my love for writing. Well, it turns out that my intention led me to the discovery of broadcast and therefore the pursuit for my degree in journalism. I realize that what sometimes starts as our initial idea doesn't mean that it will be the end result. Sometimes life is a series of ideas that keep leading us to our greater purpose. The point is to be patient, listen, and keep going!

Last month, I wrote an entry about taking a leap of faith and practicing my individuality and independence. I cannot emphasize how important that move was to my growth and what an incredible trip it was.  I began the month of March with a leap of faith trip to Los Angeles for the Oscars. From that, a day spent at the Paramount Studios showed up and I had the chance to visit famous television sets for shows like Dr. Phil and the Doctors. As you can see, I ambitiously jumped on Dr. Phil's chair. I felt right at home! Becoming a talk-show host is an ultimate dream of mine and the cool thing is that I was so comfortable being in  the studio, that it re-nourished my dream of becoming a talk-show host. As a result, March has brought me nothing less of new experiences. As a writer for Splash Magazine,  I had the opportunity to attend my first symphony at Davies Symphony Hall and also listen  live to the lovely Liz Callaway at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. I will post links to both reviews at the end of this entry in-case anyone needs an insight on either events.

The note that I would like to end this entry on is the persistence of PURSUIT. Life will bring us different situations but the process of inclusion and exclusion is very important. Some choices will lead us to greater places and other choices will teach us to re-route. The message is that we are here to live and learn. What matters is how we live when we are here because the destination can very well be unknown. With that being said, everyday is a blessing and I wish everyone an incredible entry into April! Thank you as always!

LEAP OF FAITH!

February has been an interesting month for me. In slowing down and taking some time to rest and reset, I feel stronger to pursue new opportunities. We often think about success as a process of constantly working and compacting as many things as we can in a day to try to be as productive as possible. At times this method is necessary but I also think that slowing down is important. Life is all about balance. In one of Dr. Wayne Dyer's seminars he said, "that there is a time in life to be fast, slow, ahead, and behind." This has resonated with me. I'm very grateful that I had a chance to slow down and replenish myself from the long accomplished journey that I have been on. The greatest strength is the one that is inside each of us. I believe that deep within us we really do know what is next, and if we silence ourselves enough then the infinite will guide us to our next calling. In my midst of silence, I felt the excitement of taking a leap of faith. I have an upcoming Oscars event in Los Angeles and I've decide to take the journey individually. I love to have company when I travel  but sometimes life requires you to rely only on YOU. I knew that this would be a challenge for me since it is far from my comfort, but deep within me, I also know that it is time. I am READY! I figured, I could sit at the shore and justify why I didn't go on the boat or get on the boat and set sail. Guess what? I'm getting on the boat! By taking the leap of faith as my first step, I cannot explain how generous the universe has been to me for aligning all the right people and places to support my upcoming journey. I'm very grateful and excited! My point to this blog entry is the importance of listening to yourself and trusting the process. You really don't need all the answers, sometimes you just need to be present enough to take the first step. Thank you to all my readers and I hope something magically happens for each of you.

Love,
Ish

#2018

Happy New Year Everyone!!! Today marks the first new moon of the year and according to astrologers, it is a incredibly strong time to launch something new. So what is everyone up too? A new year, new month, and new moon all activate this new year. Exciting times I presume.  Well, I'm certainly excited about the new year and am currently analyzing what I have and what I will need to execute my next intent. The analysis stage is a big deal because it sets up shop for the preparation stage. I've been on cruise-control for a while thanks to school, but now I've graduated from San Francisco State University with my Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts and it's time for me to put my degree to use! Where to begin? So many ideas and so many projects... For me, sorting things out is the first step because every new adventure requires a different blue print. So far, I've spent 2018 cleaning and clearing my home so my space is as cleansed as possible for new opportunities to come in. I believe big changes are on its way and I need to be as flexible as possible for everything and anything. I send love and light to all my readers and hope that everyone unleashes a new intent for themselves this new moon! 2018 we got this!!!
