PURPOSE?

Dear Readers,

I hope that everyone's 2015 is off to a wonderful start and everyday you are a step closer in fulfilling your purpose. I am off to a great start and have recently just successfully completed my 1st semester at SFSU! It has been a wonderful experience and I have learned a lot! One of the most valuable parts of being a student at SFSU has been the feeling of gratitude and contentment that I feel walking through campus everyday. At times it is hard to decipher if  you are in alignment with your purpose, but in actuality I feel that when you feel a deep level of happiness with what you are doing then you are aligned with your current purpose. I often read pieces of my own entries before I write a new entry for IBI, and its amazes me every time of the beautiful journey that I have been on and have been able to publicly share with my readers. It takes great depth to connect with people and I am currently opening myself to relate with people as a place of oneness. I am so grateful for this blog that I started in March of 2011 and feel blessed to see the progression of my dreams. I encourage everyone to take a look within themselves and ask if you are in alignment with your purpose? Sometimes just being will help you feel where you are at. Tomorrow we reach the 6 month point of the year and now is a better time than ever to determine if you need to make a shift in your direction.  Love you all and tune in too "thoughtful Tuesdays" on IBI!

Never Too Late!

Something great about starting something on your own is that you can always return back to it! I would like to begin by thanking all my readers for staying in touch with my Insights by Ish posts and for being a part of "thoughtful Tuesdays" on my IBI fan page. It has certainly been a while since I posted on my blog, but nevertheless the insights remained coming on my fan page. Before I began writing this post, I reflected back to my last entry in January 2014 and it summed up a lot for me. That post was about commitment and committing to what you really want and making it happen. I guess that level of commitment explains why I wasn't writing much on my personal blog.

Last year I committed myself to going back to school where I could put myself in a position to pursue my dream career. With a lot of hard work and dedication I succeeded! I was recently accepted to 3 different Universities and made my final decision late last year. This Spring I will be attending San Francisco State University as a Broadcast Journalism major! I am so grateful for this opportunity and am very excited to begin the next level of my education.

It is a very exciting feeling to feel the movement and growth in your life and know that you are in the works of your dream!  I am very happy also to share this news with my readers and wish everyone blessings in pursing their dreams. The plan this year is to continue to bring new Insights to my readers and share in a year filled with Expansions! Happy New Year!

Committ to You!

Happy New Year Everyone!
Every year we think of new goals and commitments to obtain, overcome, and achieve. Sometimes we hold ourselves vigorously to them and other times we dismiss it before we even get profoundly into the year. So where does the problem get created in wanting something so badly, yet carelessly letting go of it? I think the problem can be found in commitment. We can commit our mind to come up with the desires of what we want; however our actions sometimes fall short of our words. This prevents us from getting fully involved and engaging with our commitment because it is a less of a risk and challenge to push against the self. Are we afraid to see our full potential? At times it is easier for us to hold another to their "word" but not ourselves. Where is the imbalance/ restraint? I think at times we are afraid of what we really want and therefore do not fully engage with our commitment to avoid disappointment; however, one can only learn their full capability if they push the self without restraint. I think the biggest commitment that one can make is to the self and the highest point of truth comes from within. So I encourage everyone to take this new year as an opportunity to go above and beyond what you've ever known and test your abilities to reach an even more remarkable you!. I will be testing my own abilities and ask you to test yours. To a wonderful 2014! :)
