We Made It!!!

Wow!!! What a year it has been! 2016 has been nothing less than a lot of hard-work, persistence, and adaptation.  I haven't had a moment to reflect but what I certainly do know is that I have accomplished. Q4 has consisted of events, interviews, endless writing, and news packages. There is a lot of great work that I have composed and look forward to sharing it with you all. If you need a sneak peek, feel free to search my name in youtube and check out a few samples of my work from this year. I also had a lovely internship for lovelierie where you can find some of my published work.

As I take a moment to exhale, I have a few quotes that come to mind...first, "a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step", Lao Tzu and a "picture is worth a thousand words."  For those of you that have been with me since the beginning, you should know exactly what I am talking about. For starters, Insights by Ish is now the name of all my LIVE shows. As far as the picture quote goes, well nobody knows what it is like to be in someone else shoes except for the person in it. I have put a tremendous amount of myself into my work this year and you know what....I wouldn't change it for the world! Happy Holidays! Gone fishing until the New Year!

FLEXIBILITY

Q3 has begun and I think it is going to be one of my most unknown quarters of the year. I anticipate this because I can't exactly gather where all my actions will be taking place and therefore I need to be resilient. I feel as I will need to spread myself in a few areas as there are a lot of new areas of exploring and building to resonate in. When you have new material to work with, that is when  resilience is essential because it allows smoother movements around unsettled pieces. July definitely started with a shift in my momentum and without even knowing I got the boost that I needed. I went from a very chill and traveling June to jumping back into the city working on a new project. I find these moments really interesting in life because these are the factors where choices usually play out. For example, I had a shift in my plans that I did not expect and instead of waiting on someone else's  decision, I choose to look into my resources to see what I could do and was able to find a fast solution to a situation that could have become stressful.

Resilience is the emphasis to my readers. There are always going to be ups and downs but how we choose to move around them is were the differences are made. Flexibility starts with you. We have a personal responsibility to manage our situations and by leaning to find a solution rather than determining the stuck energy of the problem, we are able to get out of the obstacle much quicker. We may have to shift 5 times before we are able to plateau for a little bit and as exhausting as it can be, just remember that changes are happening because there is a higher evolution taking place. Our growth only stops when we choose not to challenge ourselves and stop moving around because of our own stories. Don't get me wrong, stability is a wonderful thing and essential in life, but if we have not reached our peak to what we are striving for, then you can bet that change is often going to be a challenge and resilience will become one of your favorite tools. I am happy that I was able to rest in June as I could already feel that Q3 is going to take some stamina. So think before you react and exercise your ability to multi-task.

On a side celebration note, I just learned that IBI has reached over 10,000 views!!! I am so excited and thrilled for all the growth and look forward to new innovations that will continue to enhance IBI and the Lav-ish brand. Love you all, Ish

A traveling June!!!

Happy Summer IBI readers!

June has been a wonderful month for me complete with two destinations: Los Cabos, Mexico and Las Vegas! Both places were great and offered me different things. It was my first time going to Cabo and I absolutely loved it! I was in major need of a reset and was thrilled to find it in Cabo. I stayed on the San Jose side which was very quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed each day thoroughly and would start off my mornings at 5:00am just to walk on the beach and watch the sunrise. It was spectacular to be a part of the awakening of a day. It was very purifying, cleansing, and relieving to me. The resort we stayed at had excellent service and took very good care of us. I was excited to find my reset place and thrilled that it is so close to home.

Next, a spontaneous trip to Vegas arrived. I guess after Cabo I had the travel bug and began to look for the next trip. A sensational invitation to Vegas showed up that I could not pass. I gathered my sisters and we were on the next flight. Vegas was a blast! A super party trip at some of the best venues. We had an excellent time at Hyde night club in the Bellagio Hotel and then the best day pool party at Liquid located in the Aria Hotel. I must say that Vegas is a place were the caliber of what you do and how you do it is raised. There marketing teams know exactly what they are doing...lol.  I found it motivating because there is always a higher level to experience in Vegas. The time spent with my sisters were fun and filled with making lifetime memories. I am super grateful for both trips and thankful for all these expansions and memories. My only insight that I can enclose with is to never stop believing or striving for what you want to accomplish. It is all available for anyone it just depends on the will of each person. I think sometimes the hardest person to see is the true "you" in the mirror and realize that all of you is worth it.

Love you all and lets see what July has in store for us as we get ready for Q3.

Ish On Set!!!

Hello Everyone!!!

I just wanted to take a moment and share some highlights of the beginning of my career.  Here is a live tapping of me piloting a talk show named "Insights by Ish". I find it truly amazing that when I started this blog in 2011, I would only dream that there would be a moment that it transpired into a talk show. Well it did and it was awesome! I have loved every part of production and now more so than ever I am convinced that this occupation is for me. Every part of my awakening and journey has been stepping stones and hard work to develop living in the possibility of my dreams. I encourage everyone to never give up on themselves and not let there passion die inside them. There will always be challenges to overcome but sometimes giving up will be your hardest failure. I say the only person who you need to believe in is yourself and the rest will follow. Continue to love and embrace who you are at all times and eliminate whatever serves no support or meaning to yourself and the pathway to your future. Tomorrow I am off to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for the first time and I look forward to sharing my new insights! Love you all, Ish

Q1-A Great Start to the Year!

Happy Q1 Everyone!

As most of my readers know, I often like to reflect on my current stages in life to evaluate my progress towards my goals. Q1 is a term that I picked up on from my accounting days and like to use the term to break the year into four quarters. So currently, as we get ready to finish March (Q1) I wanted to give gratitude to my first quarter of the year and use it as motivation for my Q2.

Lets begin by saying that going back to school to pursue my dream career is one of the BEST decisions that I made for myself. I think about all that has come to life by working hard and staying committed to my dreams. What is interesting is that it is no longer just a dream, it is becoming my reality. I  was fortunate to attend two very high profile events this year, The NFL Honors Awards which took place in my city of San Francisco and the 3rd largest viewing party for the Oscars at the Beverly Hilton! Both events were absolutely amazing and surreal. To be in rooms that I once watched on television, to actually being in that exact room was beyond thrilling. I was able to connect with some wonderful people and enjoy each event thoroughly.

What I have learned is that a journey never ends...it just excels into another level. One must stay in alignment with their intentions to manifest and be a part of what they are seeking. The work is never done. The higher you reach, the more there is to maintain. For me, I am thrilled to come this far and cannot believe that I will be graduating next year with my degree in Broadcast Journalism! I have hopes for myself but also know it is not about getting comfortable when the vibrations are high, it is about receiving what is in the moment and building from that to the next chapter. Big moments just don't stay, you work to keep them.

So to all my lovely readers, I truly do thank you all for being a part of my journey since 2011 and as always, I am thinking of new innovative ideas to bring to IBI. I am working on some great things for Q2 and look forward to sharing them with you. Just remember that everyone has a purpose in this world and one is not greater than the other, but to live within purpose you must find what make you come alive every time.

Lots of Love,
Ish

PROJECTS LEAD TO PATHS!

Welcome to another look at insights. Paths are open-ended and we cannot see where it will lead until we are willing to walk that path. It is important to stay open so we can listen to the guidance that we are being given. Life is good and I am exploring!
